The Lonely Stars, Aylesford

The Winter Wonderland Blues have hit our village like a runaway train. First of all, the large scale pantomime went bust which was a bit of a downer as people had bought tickets for shows that were no longer going to be performed. Just as bad, though, it looks like quite a few suppliers will be left out of pocket as well.
As it got dark today we decided to go up and see the Winter Wonderland in it's lit up glory only to find that had gone too! Apparently the pantomime going bust then dragged the Winter Wonderland down with it. A perfect metaphor for Brexit would be harder to find. These rather austere, rather sad Christmas lights were the only thing illuminating our village. Bloody hell, I hope the rest of the Christmas break is a bit better!
