ChristmaSki Day 2
I had a really bad nights sleep worrying about my first day Skiing, convincing myself I was going to put my back out!!
When I got up, the boys had already been to the Boulangerie and the table was set for breakfast. It had snowed in the night so the view from the chalet was stunning.
Our Private Ski Instructor came to meet us at 8.45 and we were taken to a local ski resort for a days tuition! She was fabulous and so very patient with the mixed ability group!
We stopped for a coffee break and sat outside in the sunshine at the top of the mountain. Mr W fell off the ski lift 3 out of 3 times and I was the only one not to fall over!!!!
After a full days skiing, and a quick Apre Ski Vin Chaud (hot wine) we made it back to the chalet just in time for dinner, cooked again by our Private chef. Another superb meal.
One by one, everyone gave in and went to bed, totally shattered but happy, leaving Mr W snoring next to me while I tried to upload the days pictures to FB - the internet is hit and miss here - then I was the last one to bed!!!
So having started the day worried I wasn't going to be able to ski, I ended the day satisfied with my efforts, glad I didn't fall over and was left with more stamina then the rest of them!!!
