Continues to flower

year after year. This amaryllis belonged to my parents, flowered each year, formed new bulbs and dutifully flowered again the following year.  It sits in a large pot on the concrete at the back of our house, gets no special treatment and continues to flower. This year it has four stems of flowers but with all the recent rain the snails have had an early Christmas dinner.  This flower is the only one which hasn't been mutilated.
