Backblip: Strawberries in December

Portuguese-grown strawberries are far nicer than the tasteless Spanish ones grown under tunnels. What is more, they sell real cream in Portugal. Not UHT. Not thickened. Nor stabilised. Just Cream. Why can't they do that in France?
