The Royal Alcazar

Vandaag ben in naar het Royal Alcazar geweest: het koninklijke paleis in de sfeer van 1000-en-1 nachten. Eenmaal over de drempel loop je hier een heel andere wereld in. Met de prachtig versierde plafonds, de met mozaïek versierde muren en de prachtige patio's was het net een scène uit Aladin. Het was echt prachtig om te zien. Ook de tuinen bij het paleis waren super. Hier heb ik nog een uurtje of wat rondgehangen.
Toen ik het daar gezien heb ben ik richting de rivier gefietst. Daar heb ik lekker aan de oever in ze zon gezeten, ebookje erbij tot de zon achter de huizen aan de overkant verdwenen was. Toen ik 's avonds in de spiegel keek was mijn neus zo rood als een tomaat! Oeps, verbrand! 's Ochtends was het gelukkig al weer bijgetrokken. Het was een prima weekend!

Today I have been to the Royal Alcazar: the royal palace in the style of 1000 and 1 nights. Once over the threshold you walk into a very different world. With the beautifully decorated ceilings, the walls decorated with mosaics and beautiful patios it was like a scene from Aladin. It was really beautiful to see. The gardens at the palace were super. Here I hung out for an hour or so.
After this I cycled towards the river. There I sat by the shore in the sun, reading an ebookje until the sun set behind the houses. In the evening I looked in the mirror and my nose was as red as a tomato! Oops, burned! In the morning it was already calmed down, fortunately. It was a great weekend!
