View from the Giralda

Het was een mooi dagje vandaag: in de zon was het lekker warm, in de schaduw was het frisjes (helaas is er veel schaduw in de stad). Gister heb ik twee pakken musli-repen gekocht waar ik een gratis zonnebril bij kreeg, die kwam wel van pas!
Ik ben naar de kathedraal geweest en daarvoor had ik precies de goede dag uitgekozen: er was bijna niemand! Ik heb dus lekker op mijn gemakje zo'n anderhalf uur door de kerk gelopen, de toren beklommen en de schatkamer bezocht. Het uitzicht vanaf de toren is geweldig. Links achter de Corte Ingles staat mijn huis (find Waldo). Toen ik buiten kwam wilde ik nog naar de Alcazar, maar die sloten vroeger dan ik dacht. Dat wordt morgen dus mijn doel.
Onderweg naar huis was het gezellig druk op straat. Overal kwam je levende standbeelden en straattheater tegen. Gezellig dus!

It was a nice day today: the sun was warm, in the shade it was cool (unfortunately there is plenty of shade in the city). Yesterday I bought two packs muesli-bars where I got a free sunglasses on, which came in handy!
I went to the cathedral and I had chosen just the right day: there was hardly anyone! I just stroled the church for one and a half hour, climbed the tower and visited the treasury. The view from the tower is amazing. Left behind the Corte Ingles is my house (find Waldo). When I came out I wanted to go to Alcazar, but they closed earlier than I thought. That is my goal for tomorrow.
On the way home it was pleasantly busy street. There where living statues everywhere. So cozy!
