Weymouth has its fair share of homeless, rough sleepers and Big Issue sellers.  Aaron is one of the Big Issue sellers in town.

A few days ago I was in a coffee shop in town and had a seat in the window. Opposite was a lady of perhaps my age selling the Big Issue.

In the time I was there not a single person acknowledged her existence let alone bought a copy. I can't pretend I do all of the time but I did go over to her after I had finished my coffee and bought a copy. She told me trade was slow, I was the first customer of the day with only one copy sold the day before.

It was around then I thought of today's blip. It's not turned out as well as I had hoped. I had wanted to portray a sea of people oblivious to the sellers cry "Merry Christmas Big Issue"

I asked Aaron this morning if he would be ok with me taking his picture and outlined my idea. He was fine and happy to be involved.

I have tried this sort of thing before under my old journal but getting exposure, light and desired effect didn't quite come together for me today.

Lastly. Blown away by the response to my Torn Blip. I don't think I've ever appeared on the Popular page.  I now have a few more subscribers and to them I would say thank you for subscribing to my journal. You will find I ebb and flow with blip activity and commenting but do the best I can. 

On a personal note,  I haven't slept well for the last three nights and I'm totally done in and will be turning the computer off when I've posted this Blip.
