Tree of lights

I think Ive blipped this tree a couple of years ago.

I live overlooking the cricket pitch, 50 yards from or temperance memorial and 100 yards from the Village Institute where the camera club is held.

This great old tree is at the entrance to the Institute car park and at this time of year has lights wrapped around its branches to provide its festive bling.

I did do a little light painting that ended in near disaster as I walked straight into the camera tripod sending the camera crashing to the ground and lens into the mud :-(

Luckily a quick wash under the tap showed no damage done.

LandscapeGirl is out tonight so now time for present wrapping whilst prying eyes are elsewhere.
