Pavlova

Today I went to my watercolour group's Christmas meal at a restaurant near Oswestry.  The meal was delicious and the blip is of my pudding - pavlova with mixed berry compote which tasted as good as it looked.  I brought the mince pie and mint home with me as they were a munch too far!

We did a Secret Santa gift exchange and I received a blanket which I might be glad of when the weather's especially cold. We put a limit of £5 on the gift so it's always interesting to see what can be bought for that amount.

The extra is a photo of us taken by the waitress - it's a shame that so many people are hidden by others but at least it's a record of the occasion.
