Happy puppies!

One of the nicest things to learn about The Hague has been how much they love their dogs here! It is not at all uncommon to see dogs on the beaches and streets, on the buses and even wandering around in shops! In fact, apparently it's pretty poor form to tie your dog up in the cold outside a shop. You'll get dirty looks if you don't at least bring the poor little thing inside the door. Understandable in such a gruelling climate, but a nice discovery nonetheless.

And the dogs - even the ones on the dog poo bins!! - seem pretty happy with their lot! :)
