The view

From Wythburn... Pretty much the only view all day. There were moments which promised a sense of wonder, but it was glimpsed dimly, through a haze of wayward windblown clouds.
Hoods up, I think at one point we even reached a new record of 5 jackets, it was a day where some exceptional navigation skills were needed, especially due to some 'challenging' land management by United Utilités and every "not a contour" turning out to be an eight meter Crag. Mile upon mile of bog just added to the special. . 
I've written before about the fun types - but some days aren't about that, some days, sometimes, you just have to know you can and you did. And somedays, well that's good enough.
