A Cheeky Visitor

We have lived here for over 22 years and this is the first time I have ever seen a squirrel in our garden! There are loads in the woods nearby - maybe they have bred too well and are having to forage further afield.

It was helping itself to the bird seed - I don't know if it pushed the feeder out of the tree or if the wind blew it down. Anyway it was having quite a feast.

Taken in gloomy light through the kitchen window - which was at least clean on the outside thanks to the widow cleaner being here on Friday. So not the sharpest shot in the world - especially as I was at full zoom and the shutter speed was too low as the Auto ISO maxed out!
