Waterside Viaduct

Though marked on OS as Lune Viaduct.

Mrs IttH has finished for Christmas hols, so a lazy start and (puppy proof) decorations up. Then a speculative drive out to look at a (very very very) speculative property. I was mostly interested as it meant driving down some new lanes, but eventually we came out near here.
The old Lune Valley Railway would make a spectacular walk full of history and interest, perhaps the National Park extensions might one day make that viable.

Then, with Mrs IttH looking after Missy, I had the luxury of a lovely long 2km swim followed by an even lovelier lunch with FennerPearson of this parish.
