Bookclub

Christmas meetup at mine this evening. Took half day off work to tidy house (i.e. throw all the untidy stuff into a room and close that door firmly). There is a real turf fire in the grate and the house is warm

The table is set. The food prep will start at 6 and the doorbell will go dingdong at 7.30 and the wimmin will arrive. They will be hungry and thirsty and full of vim and vigour about the book and about the state of the nation. We put a lot of wrongs to right at the bookclub and we also laugh a lot. A lot!
