Apart from the spiritual joy of Christmastime, as in heavenly celebration of the Christ birth, I am, in a childlike way, awed by the briliant vibrant colours we don't normally allow ourselves to rejoice in. Being raised in an age when colour television was a nine day wonder, I am ever thankful that Christmas trees and baubles, tinsel and decorations, bring much needed relief from the grey days of Winter.
