Silver tinsel snowflake.
While we are blessed, from blip, with a chance to silently voice our faith, joy in being here on Earth, and try to help make it better for one another, as children of our Creator, if you believe as I do, we are, then, supporting food banks and as many already do,
charity Christmas card initiatives, and recycling them later, is more than just a sticking plaster on a much bigger wound. We can decide up to a point, where to put our time, prayers, energy especially, and power, as people. It is not about just politics, or religion, there is a movement afoot that is seeing new energies coming into the planet, like an enlightenment, or time of renaissance, but at the same time many are suffering, lack of connection, or peace.
These times are challenging for all of us, and faith in a compassionate God who cares and teaches us to make sensible, wise long term choices, can't be all about ego. Maybe see www.dianacooper.com, and also the Good News in any well translated Bible. I recently discovered the Modern English Version, but am attached to the Amplified Version.
Have a great Feast of St. Lucy, patron saint of Eyes and those who are opticians. Others of you may see her as a patron for the ones with no vision.
Either way, I respect her, and value her sainthood.
