Organised

Have spent the last couple of days getting the byre tidied out and ready for the horses. So nice to know that they can come in if they need to shelter from the Orkney weather. Just need a straw bed down and it'll be ready. Hoping their time indoors will be minimal, they've all got great coats this winter and an array of rugs. Am looking forward to a flask of coffee and just being with them whilst listening to the howling weather outside. 

Off to work for me now, there is a stinker of a cold going around and I feel like a sitting duck. This one might actually kill me.

Thinking myself and Gorgeous might need to go for a curry tomorrow to help ward off the killer cold.
