Drove back from Kendal to join the old gang for a seasonal get together this evening. This time next year I guess we will cease to be part of a team.

I think I may have prematurely burnt my bridges by throwing a strop by email in which I copied in the chief exec. My finger briefly hovered over the send button but then I thought, stuff it, it’s a fait a complis, nothing to lose. The final flourish was along the lines of, ‘time and time again I am reminded of Schumacher’s ‘Small is Beautiful: A Study Of Economics as if People Mattered’, and time and time again I am reminded that it is overridden by political and financial expediency.
