Fungus again

Here is my unidentified fungus on a silver birch log, which I have been watching since mid September. I had no idea it would survive so long and apparently remain undamaged when I started watching it, I blipped it on 8th October and again on the 29th. Sorry I can't do hyperlinks to the dates from my phone I don't think.
There's a very healthy nettle there too especially for Marian!
Busy day today, a home communion this morning which was very special. Then up to Colin's cousin, she has just retired from teaching at my old school. We went together to school to see this year's Christmas Show which is always a wonderful celebration and heartwarming performance from children with a range of, and in some cases very complex, disabilities. A real start to Christmas always.
Back home, edited some minutes finishing just in time to see Ali who had run over to see me. I drove her home, did some kitchen shopping and the day has gone... I think tomorrow is going to be similarly busy too.
Didn't need to do lots of steps today, and didn't really have time, but still managed 7000.
