Sally Mair - Loving life

By Sallymair

On guard!

I rather liked these cheery chappies who were on duty outside a hotel in town today.
Today was a bit of a mixed day. Having waited four weeks to have a crown fitted to a tooth (an extra week as I had to cancel the appointment last week in order to go to a funeral) when I went today it didn't fit! After lots of paint and prodding, the dentist have up and I had to have a new impression taken. The replacement is unlikely to be back before Christmas so combined with practice holidays and a part time dentist, I'll be without it until 7th January. That is getting uncomfortably close to my trip to India if there are problems once again.
I walked home, from Meadowbank, just over 4 miles, stopping on the way in Comely Bank for a bowl of 'parsnip in a pear tree' soup!
Bridge this evening which we won, so that was a plus.

16306 steps today, so that's my quota for the week done and 2 days in hand still.
