Night out

Lyn and I took the train (electric!! four carriages!! warm!! such luxury - thank you ScotRail) through to Edinburgh at the end of the afternoon. The Edinburgh Christmas Market isn't entirely in the best possible taste but a visit is part of the festive season. We went on the wheel (blipped) which was sedate and enjoyable. We did not go on the star flyer (extra) which I imagine to be far from sedate and not at all enjoyable. Had a good wander round looking at the lights but we bought nothing at the stalls. Walked up to North Bridge for something substantial to eat before nipping down the Scotsman Steps and back to our train home.
