Abraços

In the great Brazilian scheme of things, nothing sums of the people's wonderful sense of bonding than the warm abraços (embraces or hugs) which friends exchange when they meet up for Sunday lunch. This is in Real Choppe in Copacabana; the guy on the right had just arrived to join a triple generation gathering that was full of hooting laughter and clinking of beer glasses, as well as sizzling steak on stone. It is always such a joy to behold, and occasionally capture!
