Fell Foot

No 2 son phoned first thing to say that his Nanny (my ex-Mother-in-Law) passed away last night.  He was very upset as they were very close. He was going to spend the day with his Dad and help sort things out.  Her death wasn't a surprise as she had been in a home for a while but it is still a shock.  A lady who loved her children and grand-children more than anything else.  I hadn't seen her for a number of years but it dredges up all sorts of memories - particularly nice ones of holidays we had shared here in the lakes when my sons were little.  Sad day.

I met B for a walk around Fell Foot today.  Pretty dreich but not too bad and we had a coffee there where we saw the adorable cavapoo puppy in extras.
