Christmas preparations

Rather shamed by No 2 son about my lack of Christmas preps - he already has two trees up - I thought I must make a start.

Quick trip to Grange to post Dads Christmas present, post cards and return library books. Home to tidy up and get the tree up etc.

I am also going to make a fruit cake tomorrow. These are some of the ingredients and the dried apricots are soaking in brandy. I can’t find my 8 inch tin yet.
