Mum and baby fun! Lovely to see this mum and her pup cavorting in the water. The pup is such a good size and mum sticking around has benefitted the baby as you can see; very roly poly!

A window of good weather gave me the opportunity to go up to Donna Nook today to see the grey seals and their pups on the beach. The pups are quite large now and the beach isn't quite as crowded as it has been in the previous months but it has been a good season for them. I just love their velvet coats, endearing expressions and the haunting noises that carry over the dunes with the wind. Fabulous to have on our shores.
