Red Cowled Cardinal

I'm posting this bird because it is one I haven't seen before; it is a Red Cowled Cardinal. It is actually part of the Tanager family. It is a very striking bird; the extra is a juvenile. I am not sure if it is female or male; it is getting that bit of red on its head. 
It is beautiful warm with a pleasant breeze here. We came in late last night and spent today getting groceries and exploring a little. Tomorrow morning I will be up bright and early to get out snorkeling.....I am excited. Hopefully my underwater camera is working so I can Blip a fish photo tomorrow. See you then.
