Hawk in a Dying Tree

I think this is the same Red Tailed Hawk I saw a few days ago. He was near the Eagles nest in a tree covered with lichen; I think that means that this is a dead or dying tree. A lot of trees in that area are dying; I think it is because the water in that wet land has increased.

We leave this afternoon for our trip.....I think I am ready. I hope so!!! I be back to you when I am much warmer......in Hawaii. See you then.
