One street

This is my first contribution to the One Street project. I may cheat a little and do a 'one crossroads' variant with a few night shots for variety. In a geography textbook years ago I saw two chapters on two Lincolnshire villages on the subject of nuclear and linear villages. Our village was described as the exemplary nuclear village with a central crossroads and church and pub and all major settlement radiating from the crossroads. I will focus on the High Street and the other two roads no doubt. This shot shows the tiny shop I once rented and ran an antiques shop from around twenty years ago. It was in this shop that I first started buying and repairing clocks.
