Millau viaduct

It has been a long drive today and I am not looking forward to resuming routines in the UK. However, I am now set up with the Internet and modern communications in Vernet so will be able to share my time between the two countries more easily and more efficiently. The Millau viaduct certainly has improved the journey a great deal. I remember the slow descent into the town years ago with children hanging out of the windows trying to escape the heat. Those were the days before air conditioning in cars of course. The viaduct never fails to impress - an architectural wonder which takes its place alongside the Eiffel tower and other such iconic structures.
