Yew Tree Barn

Santana and I chewed the fat last night and had a good catch up.  Off to the garage first thing for a 'briefing' on how to use the technology in the new car.

We had intended to go to Ulverston and then Barrow to order items as part of our renovations but neither of the people we needed to see were there - just as well we rang before we set off.

So we went to Yew Tree Barn in High Newton for coffee to continue our catch up.  Decided to stay for lunch and I had a lovely white onion soup with cheese and bacon scone.  Very nice.

From here we went to an open house for local artists near Milnthorpe.  Lovely pieces on display and a good chat with one of the artists who works with chemicals on copper.  Weather pretty dreich.
