Pyrrhic victory

I put up a birdfeeder a week ago that claimed to be squirrelproof. So far, I can't refute that - after seven days, squirrels have yet to steal the food from it. The downside is that the birds don't seem to have spotted it either. Athough the garden was full of small birds this morning all looking for tasty snacks, none of them seemed to notice the seeds and dried insects available behind the outer cage. I wonder if there's somewhere more obvious to site it...
