Coming Up In The World!

Another day at sea with windy weather, large waves, and gray, rainy skies.  No matter -- better to have that sort of weather at sea than on dry land when we're trying to see things.

As with many cruise lines, Regent has a loyalty program, where the more nights you spend cruising with them, the more benefits you accrue.  Yesterday, we were elevated to the dizzying heights of "Platinum" which doesn't really mean much other than now we can have our laundry done for free!  Yippee!!!

And to further our climb up the ladder to the next category ("Titanium"), we've gone and booked not one but two future cruises.  The first one leaves Copenhagen on July 28, 2020, and then visits
Skagen, Stavanger, Bergen, Alesund, Trondheim, Hammerfest, Murmansk, Solovetsky Islands, Archangel, North Cape, Kristiansund, Lerwick, Invergordon, and finally arrives in Amsterdam on August 17.  The second cruise is a long one -- 61 nights -- which starts off in Hong Kong, then visits ports in Viet Nam, Brunei, Malaysia, Taiwan, Japan, China, South Korea, Russia, the Aleutian Islands, Alaska, ending up in Vancouver.  That will be from March - May, 2021.  Lots to look forward to!
