Dropping in for a meal

I thought this perky little chap wasn't going to make an appearance when I walked through the nature reserve this morning, then out of the corner of my eye I saw something dropping straight down to about a metre off the ground - and there he was.  I think he (or she) is the father (or mother) of this little family seen earlier in the year.

Yes, he got his mealworms.

Today I nearly finished my Christmas shopping, which I was rather pleased about.  Now it's writing the cards, wrapping and doing the posting.  Which all sounds very efficient, but it isn't and I'm panicking!
