Handing round the Christmas cake

So, there we have it.  It was my old gent's Christmas party today, and here, being handed round, is the Christmas cake he made (seven and a half years ago) and donated to the afternoon's festivities.  The one I told you about.  Everyone agreed it was proper old-fashioned Christmas cake and one of the best they'd eaten.  (I still thought it tasted rather rancid).  I've put a plate of slices in Extras so you can judge for yourselves!

Apart from that, not a lot.  It was dark, cold and wet.  So what's new.
