At the foundry

We took our French visitors over to Loughborough for the casting of the 8th and tenor bells for the church in Vernet les Bains.  We were joined by about twenty others including the vicar and several more from France.  After a pub meal, we had a tour of the factory and a visit to the bell museum before the casting proper.  The bells were blessed and then there was some ringing in the foundry campanile followed by a trip to the Loughborough carillon where the Perpignan carillon player gave a mini concert.
