Yeomans Sweet-chestnut tree.

I am having a weekend with our family and it has been a lovely birthday celebration and a whistle stop exchange of presents for Christmas as well.
This ancient Sweet Chestnut tree is a delight in all seasons and in the garden here at Yeomans, where there was a heavy fog and frost this morning.
M and R keep the birds well fed and there are
Rooks, a huge pigeon, blue tits, a tree creeper and magpies.
