Dalmeny

Cumbernauld & Kilsyth Ramblers had a rather wet and cold Wednesday for our walk today.

Our 14km route took us from Hawes Pier, South Queensferry east along the shore path towards (but not as far as) Cramond and through the woodlands of the Dalmeny Estate, passing Dalmeny House on the way.

We then turned inland and uphill through the parklands of the Estate before our circuit brought us back past the House (pictured), down onto the shore path, which we followed back to South Queensferry. 

Our post-ramble coffee in the Railbridge Bistro was much appreciated, including a much-needed opportunity to sit and dry out for a while.
