Blown away

Thursday was a day of meetings.

In the morning I took part in a 'webinar' with colleagues across the UK, and in the afternoon I had a 'real' face-to-face meeting with friends and colleagues in Cumbernauld. Different people, different topics under discussion. Not too unhappy with this state of affairs as a gloomy, wet morning turned into an afternoon of torrential rain and heavy winds.
Well, it is December after all.

Decided, unwisely as it turned out, to drive into Falkirk in the early evening and maybe grab a few shots of the Christmas lights for my daily Blip. Unwisely, because the winds were still gusting and the rain, while no longer torrential, was still persistent. Wandering around in the wind and rain and trying to take photos was not much fun. However, I took a few photos (main and extra posted by way of proof) before good sense prevailed and I returned home thinking what a silly Blipper I was (or words to that effect).
