Morning ....and evening....Advent begins

Our Toy service at church today, supported the work of The Lily Trust which I have mentioned here before, .https://www.thelilytrust.org.  We were asked to provide new toys complete with labels, for young children up to the age of 4. 

Then we caught the train to Embankment and walked the short distance to Trafalgar Square and to St Martin in the Fields for the Advent Service, something we have done with the same group of friends for some years now. It begins the season so well, always with a challenge and things to think about.

The meal in Cote was good. A happy evening together.
