Just the ticket....

A busy one again. Frost to start then rain on top so the roads fairly slippy.
Headed off to St Boswell’s mart for the Christmas Cracker show and sale. Managed to get a 1st for yesterday’s Angus bullock and a 3rd for another one , nothing for my heifer. Quite pleased as there were a lot of very good cattle there. A long afternoon though as the judging was at 3 pm , the sheep were sold first at 6 pm then a presentation for 2 retiring auctioneers and fieldsman. Then the cattle were sold . Mine were really too heavy for the live ring and would have made more hanging up but you have to support the local mart at Christmas .
Back home and the side roads still slippy - good fun ( not ! )
