Sunbathing .....

A change from the heavy overnight rain- dry and sunny !
Took advantage to clip the 3 cattle for tomorrow’s Christmas sale.
Once they were done , brought in the spring calving cows to wean the calves. Clipped and vaccinated them and shut them in the slatted shed. Put their mothers in a different shed across the yard until the roar goes off them , hopefully by the end of the week.
Good job we aren’t near any civilisation cos they are all making a right racket tonight.
This is one of the Angus blks for tomorrow standing in the one sunny bit of the yard once he had been tidied up with the clippers .
