The Ice Queen Cometh

A tough choice today. I went down to Kelham Island Dickensian Christmas Market, as a good friend had a stall there. The market is in and around the industrial museum there, and as my photo class one word challenge this week is Colour, I was hoping to get some colourful shots there, which I did - stalls, characters, carousels etc. I walked down through an industrial area which is a mixture of surviving small factories and workshops, interesting derelict sites, and other buildings which have been rescued and turned into flats. The late afternoon light made for some interesting shots. In the end, I had to go for this shot of the Ice Queen who was gracing the market with her presence.
