Sunrise

Headed in to work on the bus today. As I arrived, slipping a bit on the icy pavements, I saw the sunrise behind these trees.

Much of the day catching up on emails after being closed yesterday, a senior management team meeting, a (lengthy trip to the post office as I had underestimated the weight of cards to the US), 1:1s with two Area Conveners, then home for 8pm to prepare for tomorrow.

Took a break to watch the news and marvel at the ever deepening twists and turns in the UK Parliament, raising some fascinating fundamental constitutional issues.
