Local food evening

Dentist this morning and despite my indulgence in Toblerone, I needed nothing doing.

Tonight we had a meal at a local hostelry - they had a 4 course meal with matching wines for £30 a head. It was a bargain and though not amazing, it was better than normal pub grub. We were placed at a table with an old chap on his own, and a woman whose husband was at work. He was deaf and talked a lot, and she was monosyllabic so it was all quite hard work.
