Budding

Writing up focus groups this morning, then we visited friends to leave  back a brass horse charm that they had lent us.  "Put it somewhere facing the door and the next person who views the house will buy it (the house, not the horse)", they said.  "Pah.." we said, "stuff and nonsense."  But we did put the horse up.  Strangely enough, the next people to view bought the house!!  We did some gardening in the afternoon, mainly clearing the huge number of leaves that have fallen from the big Catalpa trees.  The sun was shining and the cherry trees are budding.  It's a long way away, but I did get a glimpse of what spring might be like.
