Road through the lupins

We had heavy rain first thing this morning, and it's raining again now, but we did see the sun about lunch time.  I went to morning tea with the church ladies, then down to the river to see the lupins and poppies.  The poppies had their petals tightly closed.  So after lunch I went back, and yay, they had opened up, and are still looking beautiful.

I collected little 'h' from school, and are about to start on our ukulele Christmas Carol project.  

Still have 100 steps to do, will do that no trouble!!  The extra photos are :  a close up of the Poppies, and the view to the south, the bridge is over the Cardrona River.
