Clean sweep

The river has overtopped a number of times recently after heavy rain and the high flow rate has scoured the footpath removing the top surface and fallen leaves while leaving  heavier objects behind that were being washed downstream. The river level is now about 3 feet lower that its recent high point. Luckily the village remains unaffected.
