Encouraging signs.

Badly needed after another thoroughly miserable day, with mist low cloud and rain. This Miniature Iris is producing shoots which are pushing up through twigs deposited in the garden by recent gales. Normally flowering in early Spring it must have been encouraged by recent mild weather.
