New world record

Normally we spend half an hour arguing over Christmas trees and looking for one that "talks" to TSM. This year we all liked the first one we saw, had it trimmed and paid for it and got out in record time. We were all a bit stunned.

Had a really nice hour or so putting it in place, hanging the lights, drinking beer and listening to Christmas music. Strider had acquired some truly awful jokes such as "what are Santa’s little helpers called?" Answer: subordinate Clauses.

Dylan escaped (twice) until we found the hole he had made in the fence and fixed it. Clever cat that one.

I decided spontaneously to practice my roast potato making skills for Christmas, to excellent effect.

I love Christmas. Even made some vegan mince parcels (as opposed to pies) and nearly finished the quiz questions. Oh and Arsenal beat Spurs 4-2.
