Soggy Sunday

Don’t think it has stopped raining for the past 48 hours.
My only venture our today was to the bin.
While putting out my rubbish l noticed this web on the lattice screen that hides my set of bins.
Started to alter a dress for Ruby, it’s only a size 6 and l think it is now a size 2.
Four inches off the waist and five inches off the hem.
As Rebecca and girls were returning home from Leeds they needed to pass the village so they called in and l could do a couple of fittings.
They hadn’t been able to see Strictly Come Dancing last night so we watched it on repeat while l was sewing.
Was more than happy to watch it again - thought it was the best six dances in one show l’ve ever seen!
Think it’s all down to personalities and favourites for who will go on to win.
I did tip Kevin and Stacey to win when they did the pairing up show, just saying.
Dress fits Ruby perfectly.
